With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leon D. Darakjian of New Britain, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 4, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leon D. Darakjian to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Taniel Darakjian and Mariam Darakjian (Atamian); and his brother Garabed Darakjian. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Marta Darakjian; his brother Sarkis Darakjian; and his nieces and nephews, Katherine Darakjian (Daniel Zaborowski), Shant Darakjian, Lisa Wells (Robert Wells), Lenna Darakjian, Aida Avazian (Armand) and Samira Alias.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Stephen's Armenian Apostolic Church.
