She is survived by: her husband Richard Jakiel Sr.; her nephew Damian Szalkowski; her niece Joanna Szalkowska; her brother Zbigniew (Krystyna Mordasiewicz); and also, Kazimiera Jakiel, Claudia Jakiel (Zachary Leasure) and Richard Jakiel Jr. (Jennifer Philbrook). She is also survived by many other cousins, family members, and friends.
