She was predeceased by: her parent Niles Johnson; her son Mark Sullivan; her great grandchild Tyrone Hezlet, Jr.; her brothers, Gordon Johnson and N. Arthur Johnson; and her son-in-law Edward J. Wood, Jr. (Kay).
She is survived by: her husband Theodore "Ted" Kalwat; her parent Linnea Johnson (Spong); her children, Thomas Sullivan of Bristol, Anne Marie Perretta of New Britain and Patricia Wood of Vero Beach, FL; her stepchildren, Walter Kalwat and Lee Ann Kalwat of Plainville; her brother Lawrence Johnson (Sonja) of Aiken, SC; her grandchildren, Evangeline Perretta, John D. York, Mark, Edward J III, Danielle and Callie Wood; and her great grandchildren, David Crosby Jr., Taylor Everitt, Reileigh, Edward IV, Isabella Wood, Hailey, Trisha Tinkham and Kiearra Helzet. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
