He was predeceased by: his parents, Ludwig Eckert and Louise Eckert (Maier). He is survived by: his wife Theresa Eckert (Osga); his children, Joanne Eckert of Stamford and Hans Eckert (Carla Cifarelli); and his grandchildren, Lauren, Emelia and Elijah Eckert.
