He was predeceased by: his parents, Pasquale Vernale and Tina Vernale (Lopez). He is survived by: his wife Diane M. Vernale (Brooks); his children, Paula Vernale and Joseph (Cheryl Vernale); his granddaughter Tena; and his sister Marion (Gilbert Bironi). He is also survived by niece, a nephew and two great nieces.
