He was predeceased by: his parents, O'Neila Malena (Calza) and Joseph Malena; and his siblings, Frank Yots, Oranzo Malena, John Malena, Albert Malena, Rocco Malena, Josephine Palenza, Lucy Vyskocil, Jeanna Destefano, Rose Garland, Mary Gionfriddo, Anita Appleby and Carmen Florkowski.
He is survived by: his wife Terry (Falvo); his children, Patricia Tedesco (John) of Berlin, Lisa Crenella (Dave) of Berlin and Joseph Malena (Robert Hartmann) of Hope Valley, RI.; and his grandchildren, Tricia Burnham (Donald), John Tedesco (Angela), Nicholas and Matthew Crenella. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
