He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny "Bo" Mitchell and Ruby D. Allen (Holmes); and his brothers, James Parker and Blanton Parker. He is survived by: his children, Kendra Armstrong (Paul) of Leesburg, GA, Bernard "Keith" Mitchell of Warner Robins, GA and Charles Lee Mitchell of Warner Robins, GA; his siblings, Jewel D. Fluellen, Nettie P. Floyd, Vanessa Allen, Sharon Allen of Dublin, GA and Tony J. Allen of Dublin, GA.; his close friend Audrey White of New Britain, CT; and his great-aunt Fannie Mitchell of Dublin, GA.. He is also survived by half sisters and brothers, eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
