Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved JoAnn Rusczyk of New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away at the age of 88, on April 7, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Wodarski and Mary Wodarski (Gaj); her son John Paul Rusczyk (Mary Sypek); her siblings, Edward Wodarski and Irene Tutko; and her grandson Kevin.
She is survived by: her husband Francis J. Rusczyk; her children, Laura Rusczyk, Richard Rusczyk (Cheryl) and Joseph Rusczyk (Fay); her grandchildren, Alexander, Matthew, Amanda, Marissa, Jonathan, Erica Rusczyk and Jordan Sypek; her great grandchild Blake; and her sister Frances Wolski.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes (332 Burritt St, New Britain, CT 06053). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the Burritt Hill (332 Burritt St, New Britain, CT 06053). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (158 Broad St, New Britain, CT 06053). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (662 Burritt St, New Britain, CT 06053).
