He is survived by: his mother Stanislawa Stopyra (Sierzega); his wife Lucja M. Stopyra (Wojtyna); his children, Lukasz Stopyra (Giang), Marek Stopyra (Magda), Marcin Stopyra and Klaudia Posluszny (Jakub); his grandchildren, Julie, Lily, Alex, Adam and Oliwier; and his brother Henryk Stopyra (Maria).
