She was predeceased by : her spouse Piotr Piechowicz; her parents, Marceli Niska and Stefania Niska (Korzeniecka); her siblings, Genowefa, Aleksander and Marceli Niska; and her siblings-in-law, Waclaw, Kazimierz Piechowicz and Czeslawa Piechowicz.
She is survived by : her children, Richard Piechowicz (Celia) of Scottsdale, AZ, Christine Castillo (Michael) of Queen Creek, AZ and Diane Bednarz (William) of Portland, CT; her grandchildren, Mariel Piechowicz MD of Pittsburg, PA and Julianna Piechowicz of Queen Creek, AZ; her sister-in-law Teresa Piechowicz of New Britain, CT; her niece Anne Flanagan (Michael); her great-nephews, Sean, Andrew and Connor of Suffield, CT; her nephew Robert Piechowicz (Tracy) of Glastonbury, CT; her cousins, Mary Michno, New Britain and Eugenia Antonik; and her friends, Wiesia Krzynowek, Genia Sowinski and Fredzia Wlosek.
