She was predeceased by: her husband Alan Welsh Sr.; her parents, Robert Shaw and Antoinette Shaw Sr. (Grandpre); her brothers, Robert F. Shaw Jr. and Earl J. Shaw II; and her brother-in-law Timothy Welsh.
She is survived by: her son Alan Welsh Jr.; her sister Dee Mayell (Arthur); her sisters-in-law, Susan Shaw, Lorraine Shaw and Cathy Welsh; and her aunt Shirley Shaw. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care (1987 E Main St, Waterbury, CT 06705). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A special thank you to the recreation department at the Summit for always going above and beyond to make the residents feel special, even during COVID.
