George A. McIntyre Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2025, at the age of 85, George A. McIntyre Jr. (New Britain, Connecticut) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George A. McIntyre Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George McIntyre and Annie McIntyre (Harris); his wife Judi Simeone; his brothers, William and David; and his siblings-in-law, Marie Simeone, Donna McIntyre and Mark Lapollo.
He is survived by: his niece Laura Leger (Jeffrey) of Bristol, CT; his nephew Robert McIntyre (Denise) of Plainville, CT.; his brother-in-law John Simeone (Chris Simeone) of Berlin; his nieces and nephews, John Eric Simeone (Jen), Jenny Tine (Lee), Alyssa (Michael) and Glaser; and also, Catherine Lapollo of Berlin, Terri Noyes (Larry) of Berlin and Tina Doyle (Dan) of Berlin. He is also survived by eighteen great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Erickson-Hansen Funeral Home of Berlin (111 Chamberlain Hwy, Berlin, CT 06037). The military honors was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at the St. Mary Cemetery (1141 Stanley St, New Britain, CT 06051).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Buddy may be made to the Berlin Senior Center, 33 Colonial Drive, Berlin, CT 06037.
