It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genowefa Chochlinski of New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on January 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stefan Karpiel and Mary Karpiel (Lagosz); her husband Jan Chochlinski; and her son Richard. She is survived by: her children, Halina Merchel (George) of Farmington, William Chochlinski, Becky of New Britain, Stacey Ahern (Robert Jr.) of Kensington, Janina Russo (Paul) of Kensington and James Chochlinski (Krystyna) of Bristol; her grandchildren, Christopher Chochlinski (Grayson), David Russo, Jennifer Gadomski (Kevin), Paul Russo Jr., Gregory Merchel (Sara), Robert Ahern III (Jennifer) and Jack Russo (Elena); and her great grandchildren, Kody Gadomski, Theodore, Archie, Oliver Merchel and Angelo Russo.
