Genevieve Paszczuk Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2025, at the age of 88, Genevieve Paszczuk (New Britain, Connecticut) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Genevieve departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Genevieve may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Genevieve leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parent Anna Kazienko Duchecki; her husband Bogdan; and her daughter Elizabeth. She is survived by: her sons, Stanley Paszczuk and Henry. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home (444 Farmington Ave, New Britain, CT 06053). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Church (183 Church St, Newington, CT 06111).
