He was predeceased by: his parents, Jan Szczesniak and Janina Szczesniak; and his brother Stefan. He is survived by: his wife Zofia Szczesniak; his children, Krystyna Figiel (Grzegorz), Barbara McLaughlin, Julie Szczesniak and Adam Szczesniak (Alice); his grandchildren, Michael, Melissa, Steven, Elizabeth and Lorelei; and his sisters, Teofila Rodziewicz (Jan) of Charlotte, NC and Maria Kenzior (Gary) of Vernon, CT. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
