He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; and his siblings, Robert Gobar and Rosalie Tracy. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Branigan and John Gobar (Karen); his grandchildren, John Branigan IV (Sarah) and Nicole Colon (Mark); his great grandchildren, Aria, Austin, Emerlee and Rocko; and his sister Alice Malley.
