Franc Marac Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Franc Marac of New Britain, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Franc departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Franc. Though Franc may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jan Maracz and Leonarda Maracz (Lukasiewicz). He is survived by: his wife Alicija Marac (Smolska); his children, Jaroslav (Gabriela Marac) and Ana (Patrick Sendele); his brother Romuald (Teresa Marac); and his grandchildren, Adrian Marac, Lucas and Emily Sendele.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes (332 Burritt St, New Britain, CT 06053). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (158 Broad St, New Britain, CT 06053).
