He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Brochu and Yvonne Brochu; his former wife Rejeanne; and his brother Aime. He is survived by: his wife Laura; his children, Gary (Sandi), Janet Wicander (Mark), John (Susan) and Gail Erickson (Jeff); his grandchildren, Dan Erickson, Lauren Boughton, Alison Cassidy, Sarah Chura, Mallory Hartnet, Lindsey Brochu, Megan, Katie and James Wicander; and his great grandchildren, Everett, Sutton, Maren, Jack and Killian.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home (110 Franklin Square, New Britain, CT 06051). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (48 Cottage St, East Berlin, CT 06023). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wilcox Cemetery (273 Berlin St, East Berlin, CT 06023).
