Eva Panariti Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eva Panariti of New Britain, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 17, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her spouse Drini Panariti; her parents, Ali Selim and Azize Selim (Rushit); and her siblings, Fezi, David Selim, Dorothy Mehmetali, Norma Perugini and Joan Rossi.

She is survived by: her daughter Carol Panariti of Hyannis, MA; her sister Patty Karameta (Jimmy) of Union City; her sisters-in-law, Jean Selim, Bule Panariti and Nevres Panariti; her nieces and nephews, Barry Mehmetali, Nancy Mehmetali, Lynn Hatfield (Ed), Tracy Perugini, Dana Karameta, Jeffrey Rossi (Nicole), Ilir Panariti (Mimoza) and Renata Panariti; her cousins, Barize Shehu, Besa, George and Xhovana Collaku; and her friend Holly Arbaczawski.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home (430 Chase Pkwy, Waterbury, CT 06708). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the New Pine Grove Cemetery (850 Meriden Rd, Waterbury, CT 06705).
