She is survived by: her daughter Sonya Yvette Pinkney of Windsor Locks; her granddaughter Tyla Zhane Pinkney of Queens; and her siblings, Mary Strickland of New Britain, Louise V. Kline, Luther Ellison (Marie) of New Britain, John Ellison of Middle Town and Eddie Ellison of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
