It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emilia M. Francalangia of New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on February 17, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Amedeo Francalangia; her parents, Joseph Ricciardi and Rose Ricciardi (Barile); her siblings, Frank and Angela; and her granddaughter-in-law Janis Francalangia.
She is survived by: her children, Antonio Francalangia (Christine) of Kensington and Eleanor Maulucci (Robert) of East Granby; her sister Josephine Carlozzi of New Britain; her brother-in-law Carl Francalangia (Antoinette) of Plainville; her grandchildren, Michael Francalangia (Barbara-Jean), David Francalangia, James Francalangia, Sarena (Richard Smith), Robert Maulucci (Melissa) and Dino Maulucci (Elizabeth); and her great grandchildren, Grace, Joseph, Thomas Francalangia, Luca, Nico, Cecelia, Gabriella Maulucci and Dexter Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
