With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emelda A. Rogers of New Britain, Connecticut, who passed away on August 29, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Elmo Rogers; and her siblings, Noreen Thomas, Adeline Ollivierre, Chester Rogers, Fitzroy Rogers, Thornhill Rogers and Hubert Rogers.
She is survived by: her daughter Heidi Rogers of Chicago, IL; her siblings, Winston Rogers of Bloomfield, CT and Ruby Smith-Newberry of Tortola, BVI; and her sisters-in-law, Ida, Gloria and Hailey Rogers. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
