He is survived by: his wife Catherine McGuiness (Jones); his children, Ann McGuiness (William "Chip" Reynolds), Patrick (Nancy McGuiness), Mary Kate (Matthew Hallisey) and Timothy McGuiness of Old Lyme; his grandchildren, Nora (Nicholas Reynolds), Ian (Brendan McGuiness), Jack (Colin Hallisey) and Eamonn McGuiness; and his siblings, John McGuiness and Margaret DiPietro (McGuiness) of Vero Beach, FL.
