She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Speranza; her parents, Stephen Marek and Rose Marek (Wieczorek); and her sister Patricia Manchak. She is survived by: her daughter Paula Edinger (Gary); her siblings, Stephen "Unk" Marek and Barbara Stanowski; her grandchildren, Chrysandra Speranza and Alyssa Blumenthal (Josh); her great grandchild Harrison; and her niece Deborah Manchak.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the CT Humane Society or to the Stroke Survivors Fund at the Stroke Foundation.
