She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Gebala and Jeannette Gebala (Domizio); her husband Richard "Dick" Carey; and her sister Marie Cheatham. She is survived by: her sister Joan Birmingham of Little Rock, AR; and her nieces and nephews, Desiree Yopp, Joey (Nydia Cheatham), Tanya (Ervin Prince), Brandon Birmingham, Elexis (Norm Condon), Aaron (Laura Birmingham), Collin (Stephanie Birmingham) and Harvey Cheatham, Jr..
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home (110 Franklin Square, New Britain, CT 06051). A burial will be held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:45 AM to 11:15 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Cemetery (1141 Stanley St, New Britain, CT 06051).
