She was predeceased by: her parents, Wasyl Kohut and Rozalia Kohut (Pijak); her husband Wasyl Szestakow; and her siblings, George Kohut and Maria Lucek.

She is survived by: her sons, Will Szestakow (Sharon), Victor Szestakow and Peter Szestakow; her brother John Kohut; and her daughters-in-law, Donna and Carlene. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren; her four great-grandchildren.
