It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jeanne Schmitt of New Britain, Connecticut, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on July 26, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Schmitt Sr.; and her son James Schmitt. She is survived by: her children, Donald Schmitt, Jr. (Chris) of North Carolina, Julia Nardelli (Richard) of Newington, CT, Joann Brzezinski (Alex) of New Britain, CT and Diana Sperry (Marc) of Cromwell, CT; and her daughter-in-law Laurel Schmitt of King George, VA.. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
