She is survived by: her children, Jerry Whistnant of New Britain, CT, Marvin Whistnant (Joanne) of New Britain, CT, April Rich (Shannon) of New Britain, CT and Jennifer Whistnant of Cheshire, CT; her siblings, Jesse Michael (Juanita) of Winston Salem, NC, James Michael of Shelby, NC and Edna Tomes of Earl, NC; and her grandchildren, Danny Whistnant of New Britain, CT, Bethany David of Palm Bay, FL, Taj Smith of Willimantic, CT, Venus Smith of New Britain, CT, Aaron Jorden of New Britain, CT, Jazmine Johnson of New Britain, CT, Jhourdan Whistnant of New Britain, CT, Mason Whistnant of Rocky Hill, CT, Kobe Whistnant of New Britain, CT, Mahogany Rich of New Britain, CT, Malik Rich of New Britain, CT and Miles Rich of New Britain, CT. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews.
