The passing of Barbara (Hennessey) Evans of New Britain, Connecticut leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 11, 2024 at the age of 98. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James J Evans Sr.; and her siblings, Austin "Ed", Robert, Richard Hennessey, Frances Simon and Beatrice Webb.

She is survived by: her children, James J. Evans Jr. of New Britain and Susan E Searle (Charles); her grandchildren, Kelly (Dilyan), Meghan (Dan), Breanne Evans (Kevin), Eileen, Richard (Joanne) and Austin Searle; her great grandchildren, Mila, Isabel Searle, Rory Searle, Maira and Lily Wielechowski; and her sister-in-law Edna Evans of South Boston. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carlson Funeral Home (45 Franklin Square, New Britain, CT 06051). A graveside service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Winslow Cemetery.
