She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio Sgro; and her parents, Sebastian Cavarra and Sofia Cavarra (Gigliuto). She is survived by: her children, Frank Sgro of New Britain, Anthony Sgro (Paola) of New Britain and Barbara Sgro of New Britain; her grandchildren, Gabriella and Joseph Sgro; her siblings, Enza Marletta (Sal) and Biagio Cavarra (Sarina); her sister-in-law Lina Magisano (Giuseppe Magisano); and her niece Concetta Adams. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM at the Shaker-Hill Funeral Home (764 Farmington Ave, New Britain, CT 06053). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Of St Joachim Parish (101 North St, New Britain, CT 06051).
