She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Jelliffe and Joan Jelliffe (Gerback). She is survived by: her husband John Nielson; her son Ian Nielson; her brother John Jelliffe; her mother-in-law Adeline Nielson; and her sister-in-law Katie Nielson.
