He was predeceased by: his wife Dolores Wood (Karvelis); and his parents, William Walter Wood, Sr. and Ruth Wood (Weaving). He is survived by: his son William "Bill" Wood, III; his daughter-in-law Judy Wood of Surfside Beach, SC; and his grandchildren, Veronica DaSilva of Dover Plains, NY, William "Billy" Wood of Pomfret Center, CT and Shawn Wood of Maine. He is also survived by many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and to honor Bill's memory, donations are requested to the Alzheimer's.
