Though William may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy William leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Fernandes and Mary Fernandes (Fidalgo). He is survived by: his siblings, Clayton Fernandes, Juanita Fernandes of New Hampshire and Jeanine; and his siblings-in-law, Gordon LeVasseur of Bethany, Linda Fernandes-Bailey (Jim), Joanne LaFreniere and Thomas Fernandes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Naugatuck Valley Memorial Fitzgerald Zembruski Funeral Home (240 N Main St, Naugatuck, CT 06770). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Vincent Ferrer Church (1006 New Haven Rd, Naugatuck, CT 06770).
