She was predeceased by: her parents, Jussie Heikkila and Ida Heikkila; and her husband Robert Barnhart. She is survived by: her children, Richard, Elizabeth and Robert (Mara); her grandchildren, Thomas (Renee), Daniel Vasseur (Angie) and Chris Vasseur; and her great grandchildren, Tristan, Colton, Rylie, Charlotte, Cambria and Ava.
