Shirley Cross Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2021, at the age of 94, Shirley Cross of Naugatuck, Connecticut, born in Willsboro, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Austin C. Cross; her parents, William Stanley and Iva Stanley (Jacobs); and her son Walter Cross (Buck). She is survived by: her children, Stephen Cross (Jane Ann) of Bethlehem and Cindy Herb (Carl) of Naugatuck; her grandchildren, Christian Herb (Lisa) of Naugatuck, Jamie DeRosa (Brian) of Naugatuck, Casey Anctil (Doug) of Watertown and Caitlin McAvoy (Cem) of Bethlehem; and her great grandchildren, Austin, Steven Herb, Kayla, Stephen Anctil, Madeline, Myla DeRosa and Scarlett McAvoy. She is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews and friends.
The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to the Naugatuck United Methodist Church Memorial Fund in Shirley's name.
