He is survived by: his sons, Patrick Tie and Alex Tie; his daughter-in-law Alicia; his grandchildren, Christian and Madison; his brother Michael Tie (Jeanette Chaney); his former wife Carrie Tie; his nephew Jason Tie; and his niece Rachel Morrison.
