We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2021, at the age of 101, Mavilda Dores of Naugatuck, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio Batista Margalhaes; her parents, Carolino Marques and Julia Marques (Fernandes); her son Jose Batista; and her siblings, Carmin, Antonio and Alvaro Marques.
She is survived by: her children, Mercedes Carvalhais (Aurelio), Carolino Magalhaes (Esperanca), Joao Batista (Ceu), Florinda Almeida (Antonio), Antonio Batista (Elisa), Nazara Pinto (Jose) and Aurelio Batista (Zeza); her grandchildren, Antonio Carvalhais (Ana), Antonio Batista (Emmanuela), Luis Almeida, Carolino Almeida (Jenn), Victor Batista (Krista), Paula Coelho (Carlos), Diane Kuskowski (Matt), Rui Batista, Philip Batista (Catherine), Michael Pinto, Melissa Corbo (Anthony), Catia and Filipe Batista; her sister Sebastiana Lameira (Filinto); and her daughter-in-law Alice Batista. She is also survived by her 21 great grandchildren.
