She was predeceased by: her spouse Henrique Freire; her mother Benvinda (Flores DaSilva); her son Carlos Henrique Freire; her brothers, Antonio and Carlos Amador; her nephew Joe DaSilva; and her cousins, Joao, Carlos and Domingos Rendeiro (Venezuela).
She is survived by: her stepfather Joao Aresta; her children, John Freire (Barbara Freire) and Isabel Freire Szalapski (Eugene Szalapski); her grandchildren, Christina Moher (Mark Moher) and Abel H. Rodrigues (Nicole Rodrigues); her great grandchildren, Olivia Moher, Collin Moher, Abel P. Rodrigues and Niko H. Rodrigues; her niece Julie Cunha (Joe Cunha); and her caregiver Gloria Dias.
