With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Luis Alves Teixeira of Naugatuck, Connecticut, who passed away on October 29, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Albertino Alves Teixeira and Costa Rego; and his siblings, Francisco Alves Teixeira, Antonio Alves Teixeira, Maria and Dores Vilarinho (Alves Teixeira).
He is survived by: his wife Maria Delfina Teixeira (Martins); his daughters, Virgina "Gina" Teixeira (Richard G. Qatato) of Bethany and Marcia Goncalves (Antonio) of Middlebury; his grandchildren, Sara Benedite Goncalves, Kate Laura Goncalves, Benjamin Luis Goncalves and Mary Delfina Qatato; and his brother Fermino Teixeira of Naugatuck.
