It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lorraine Mary Ferreira of Naugatuck, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Harold "Woody" Woodfield; her parents, Flora Mae Sampson Carreiro and Jessie Carreiro; her siblings, Richard Carreiro and Janet Goulet; and her niece Nancy Carreiro.
She is survived by: her sons, Edward Ferreira and Michael Ferreira; her sisters, Nancy Henao and Dorothy Zaikas; her cousin Edward Sampson; her stepchildren, Harold Woodfield, Jr. (Pamela) and Denise Fonseca (John); and her goddaughter Pamela Fisher. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends.
