He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Sprague; his parents, Jesse Sprague and Yvette Sprague; his sons, David and Kenneth; and his siblings, Jesse, Roland, Donald, Loretta and Jane.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly San Angelo (Andrew) of Naugatuck, CT and Kristin Sprague-Malpee (Simeon) of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Matthew San Angelo (Miranda) of Naugatuck, CT, Alyssa San Angelo of Smyrna, GA, Tara Gannon of Watertown, CT and Jen Henegan (Colin) of West Hartford, CT; and his great grandchildren, Teagan, Bryn, Hudson and Riley. He is also survived by great granddaughter.
