With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathie Lynn Gesseck of Naugatuck, Connecticut, who passed away on December 21, 2024 at the age of 64. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Kathie Lynn Gesseck to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Trygve Skaar and Carole Skaar (Lenaghen); and her sister Karen Dukette. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Gesseck of Mary's Hospital; her children, Melissa Herzbrun (Brian) of Dumont, NJ, Kyle Gesseck (Tanya) of Naugatuck, CT and Ashley Harris (Nick) of Midlothian, VA; her niece Cindy Bowen; and her close friends, Shirley Gilligan of Myrtle Beach, SC and Alice Finnegan of Chandler, AZ.. She is also survived by her 5 step grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home (82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck, CT 06770). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at the St. James Cemetery (207 Cross St, Naugatuck, CT 06770).
