It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Connolly of Naugatuck, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on February 26, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Connolly and Mary Connolly (Whelan); his aunt Lena; and his uncle Walter Slawski. He is survived by: his wife Mary Connolly (Hanlon); his children, Joseph T. Connolly (Paula) of Middlebury, Christine Connolly of Naugatuck, Kathleen Michaud (Paul) of Conover, NC, Mauralee Connolly of Waterbury and Francis Connolly (Melissa) of Cheshire; his grandchildren, Brock Michaud, Kerry Michaud (Ashley), Erin Sigman (Justin), Aisling, Ciara, Fiona Connolly, Kyleigh, Cailynn Connolly, Brendan, Sydney Connolly and Liam Connolly; his great grandchildren, Phoenix, Jason Michaud, Rhen Mae, Gunnar Sigman, Rykin and Kinley Michaud; his cousin Kenneth Slawski of Waterbury; and his sisters, Sheila (Richard Collette) and Patricia Wilson of Marlborough.
Facial masks and social distancing guidelines will be required at all services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joe's name to Sacred Heart Church in Southbury or the United Way of Naugatuck and Beacon Falls.
