He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Adamaitis and Anna Adamaitis; and his brothers, John and Frank Adamaitis. He is survived by: his sons, Joseph "Bobby Joe" (Lisa Adamaitis), Raymond (Gail Adamaitis) and Richard (Joy Adamaitis); his grandchildren, Lorianne Nixon (Jeremy) of Naugatuck, Christopher Adamaitis of Portsmouth, N. H., Joey Adamaitis of Beacon Falls, Daniel Carollo (Vanessa) of Warren, N. J. and Jay Nelson of Naugatuck; his great grandchildren, Alexis Siggars, Riley Adamaitis, Stella, Luna, Aurora Carollo, Jason "J. R." Nelson, Lucas and Declan Nixon; his sister-in-law Sylvia Spiering; his nieces, Helen Nicolo, Patty Kelley (John) and Elaine Carey (Tom); and his close friend Billy Burns (Beth).
