Hedwig Mezzo Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hedwig Mezzo of Naugatuck, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on October 16, 2021, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband George J. Mezzo; her parents, Joseph Karwacki and Mary Karwacki (Grabowski); and her siblings, Walter Karwacki, Sophie Pitino and Cecelia Imbimbo.

She is survived by: her children, John G. Mezzo of Naugatuck, Carol Kackowski of Groton and Georgiana; and her son-in-law Thomas Genovese of Naugatuck. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
