He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Ploof (Fortune); his children, Gordon F. Ploof, Jr. (Kathleen Ploof) of Forestville and Sherrie Ploof of Waterbury; his grandchildren, Gordon F. Ploof, III, Abbey Schmitz of Naugatuck, Corey M. Ploof, Michelle LeFrancois of Naugatuck, Amy Fellows of Watertown and Kyle Fellows of Terryville; his son-in-law Don Fellows of Watertown; his granddaughters, Autumn Blackwood (Selena), Malaina Carneiro and Miranda Carneiro of Waterbury; and his great grandchildren, Eleanor Charlotte Ploof and Milly Lisa Awwad. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
