She was predeceased by: her husband Rocco Longo; her parents, Helmut Scheiba and Anna Scheiba (Martin); and her brothers, Bruno and Henry Scheiba.
She is survived by: her children, Edward DaSilva (Bonnie) of Prospect, Michael DaSilva (Michele) of Torrington, Ronald DaSilva (Angela Koufopoulos) of New Britain, Marilyn Deal (Mark) of Naugatuck, Diane DaSilva of Waterbury and Luiza DaSilva (Bob Skrip) of Bethany; her sister Hilda Quint of Prospect; her grandchildren, Mark Deal Jr., Crystal Deal and Lukas DaSilva; and also Edward DaSilva Sr..
Burial will be held privately, at the convenience of her family. Relatives and friends may visit with Erma's family on Thursday morning from 11:00 a. m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p. m. We continue to remain very concerned about the ongoing pandemic so masks will be required during all indoor services regardless of your current vaccination status.
