With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy A. Murtha of Naugatuck, Connecticut, born in Shelton, Connecticut, who passed away on April 1, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Thomas F. Murtha, Sr.; and her parents, Robert Wheeler and Katherine Wheeler (McIntyre). She is survived by: her children, Thomas F. Murtha, Jr. (Laurie), Catherine Bursey (Blake), Christy Fuller (Harry), Robert Murtha and John Murtha (Sandy); her grandchildren, Kiersten Lopes (Michael), Patrick Bursey (Jennifer), Sarah Bursey and Mary Murtha; and her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Tori and Cora Lopes.
