He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse A. Macharelli and Catherine "Kitty" Macharelli (Guerrera). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Macharelli (Verbickas); his children, David R. Macharelli, Jr. (Shannon Sniffin) of Waterbury, Steven Macharelli (Nicole) of Watertown, Krista Colavito (Mark Esposito) of Waterbury and Kara Poulter (Craig) of Waterbury; and his grandchildren, Carmen Colavito, Logan and Aubrey Poulter.
