He is survived by: his wife Amelia Teixeira; his son Jose Teixeira of Northfield; his daughter-in-law Dalila Teixeira of Waterbury; his grandchildren, Maria Shannon (Ryan) of Cheshire, Victoria Teixeira of Waterbury and Antonio Teixeira of Waterbury; his sister Ana Rosa DaSilva of Naugatuck; his nephews, Antonio DaSilva of Naugatuck and Vasco DaSilva of Waterbury; and his niece Lena DeMelo of Estarreja, Portugal..
